GRID, released back in 2008, was one of those racing games that just clicked. It was one of the better racing games coming out that year and it is still being playing by a massive fanbase. Either you loved the realism that the game brought or you fell in love with the more arcade part of the game. A magnitude of game modes were available so you would always have something fun to race for. As one review says: “It’s racing with a capital ‘R’ minus the frustration”.

GRID 2 is the successor and comes out almost 5 years after GRID. Supported by Intel’s IRIS Graphics, the game gives another great experience into the world of GRID. You play an up and coming racer whom will be racing the fictional World Series Racing, a global tour that will take you all over the world. GRID 2 even comes in a € 150.000,- special edition called the GRID2: Mono edition. Among other things it also includes an actual supercar that is road legal. Codemasters has said they’ll be entering the Guinnes World Record book as being the most expensive ‘special edition’ for a game ever. GRID 2 got some nice reviews with an average of 8.5 out of 10.
