The first one of our three new cosplayers is Jamila from Creative Chaos Costumes. After we met her wearing a beautiful Vi costume during the Firstlook event in Utrecht, she quickly became one of our favourites. She tries to bring her Vi costume with her on the bus, but she’s aiming to cosplay Arcade Miss Fortune at DreamHack. A little bit of a tribute it seems, since the original Miss Fortune was her first cosplay after she helped out a friend with her Caitlyn costume. It took her six months to build the Vi cosplay, but she is very proud of this accomplishment.
“My very first cosplay was Miss Fortune and this colorful Arcade version is super cool! I’ll try to bring Vi as well, but it will be a challenge to figure out if it will fit in the bus with all the other luggage everyone’s bringing.”
No worries there Jamila. We already talked to Barry the bus driver about this and we hope to see you Vi-punch some Swedish ass pretty soon!
The second one of our three new cosplayers is Patrick! Patrick is a very enthusiastic cosplayer whom is pally with both Jamila and Yvonne. With an experience of two years with two or three events each year, Patrick created an awesome design for the upcoming cosplay event at DreamHack. Even though he has limited room in his schedule, he made a fantastic cosplay of Twisted Fate. This cosplay carries most of his pride as some friends and family helped him create it. ”Plus, he is awesome!”. Next to that, Patrick is planning on cosplaying Snow Day Singed and I have the feeling that his mother will help him to carry his game to victory.
”Twisted Fate currently is my pride. The reason for that, is because my mom and cosplay buddies Jamila, Marloes and Daniëlle helped me creating it. Before Twisted Fate, I’ve also cosplayed Cloud Strifewind, but that sword is such a hassle to carry. Whenever I have more spare time, I will create even more complicated cosplays.”
Our last but not least cosplayer is Yvonne, who is a big fan of Sona! She cosplayed Sona before like the photo below shows, but this time she’s going for a more special version of the character: Arcade Sona. Yvonne is fairly new to cosplaying, but challenges herself by designing Arcade Sona on her own! This will be the first time for her to actually create the clothing, but she hopes to get some help from her cosplay buddies. She won’t be doing the keyboard alone as that would be way to hard for her first time, so she plans to pair up with Patrick to make the keyboard look as magnificent as possible.
”Now I am going for Arcade Sona, but I will do the clothing myself this time! This means that it will be my first project behind the sewing machine. Patrick is helping me out with the keyboard, and I hope to get some help from other cosplay friends as well.”
