They were fun to watch but the technology has advanced immensely since then. So iQ (Intel’s Magazine) asked themselves what would be possible with the technology we have these days.
Now that 4k Ultra HD (2160p) is fastly becoming the standard in video and YouTube officially supports 360° videos the people at iQ got an idea. Let’s make a 360° videoclip! Armed with their Intel Hardware (a powerfull desktop with a Intel® Core™ i7 processor and Intel® Iris™ graphics and six 4K GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition cameras) and some software (Kolor Autopano Video Pro) they started their adventure creating one of the world’s first 360° 4K videoclips!
