As Intel Pack4DreamHack we’re obviously powered by Intel. The world’s leading chipmaker isn’t just sponsoring the Benelux roadtrip to Sweden but has been a big partner for the Swedish computer festival for years. And thus Intel Pack4DreamHack isn’t the only thing that Intel does at DreamHack!
Not only will Intel bring over 70 Benelux gamers to the event but will also have a large two floor booth in Hall D, the main hall of the event. Here you can try out stuff like an augmented reality sandbox game (Tanked!), the first ever biosensor game Nevermind, a bunch of Oculus Rift games but also an advanced Formula 1 simulator! But wait, there is more, much more!
Overclocking masterclasses with Petri “SF3D” Korhonen
During DHW14 we saw that one of the more popular activities was the overclocking school with the famous overclocker SF3D. Petri will be back again this year to hold lessons in how to exactly get the most out of your machine in the safest way possible.
Intel Software meetup!
Especially for the game developers Intel will hold a game developer meet up. This will take place on Thursday the 26th of November 14:00. Intel will talk, together with a selected group of game developers about the Intel Graphics optimizations and ofcourse Intel RealSense technology.
Intel RealSense Technology, 360 degree Selfies and Streaming Theatre
On the upper floor of the booth there will be a showcase of the Intel RealSense technology. You will also be able to take a 360 degree selfie and not to forget the Streaming Theatre will be available here. One of the games shown is Tanked! and this game uses the RealSense technology from Intel to detect the playfield that is actually formed in a sandbox where the game will be projected on.
Another game shown in Nevermind. Here the technology tracks the players heartrate and emotional presence to make the game more difficult as you grow more scared.
And ofcourse this is Intel we are talking about, so expect much more during the event!
