The last stop in the DreamHack Eizo Open will take place in Bucharest, Romania, this weekend. The Eizo Open has been a fantastic tournament so far, with some surprising story lines and winners. This Saturday and Sunday, DreamHack Bucharest will kick off with 64 players competing for a spot in the DreamHack Eizo Open finals, at DreamHack Winter.
At this DreamHack tournament, three Dutch players will be competing: Ret, Harstem and PoYo. Ret, who already qualified for DreamHack Winter by points, is looking for another good result at DreamHack Bucharest. It has been a while since he has posted a result that represents his skill level, so we have high hopes for Ret this tournament. Harstem has gained a boost in confidence since he won the Dutch ESWC 2012 qualifier. Although Harstem is far from being a favourite for the tournament, he is certainly capable of surprising. PoYo, who was placed in a hard group at DreamHack Valencia and had a disappointing finish at the ESWC 2012 qualifiers (3-4th place), is looking for a solid result this DreamHack. PoYo can certainly take some heavy hitters out of the tournament, but don’t consider him as one of the favourites.
DreamHack Bucharest will be broadcasted on the DreamHack Twitch TV channel.
