Halååååå….. That’s how they say (shout)“hey” here in Sweden (Dreamhack). Let me introduce myself: my name is Lander but most of you know me as Pukkie. This year is the third time I join the Intel pack4Dreamhack bus trip to Dreamhack. I’ve already done two winter editions and thought it was time for something new…. The Summer edition!

After eighteen hours in the bus, singing along with K3 and other troll music, I was exhausted. It was 06.30 in the morning when we arrived at the Elmia hall. Luckily the weather was good and the sun was shining so we could sit down on the stairs in the sun and close our eyes for an hour! Then the moment was finally there for us to put on our wristbands and the unloading of the bus. By the time we were ready it was almost eight o’clock so the doors opened and we entered hall B where the 75 Intel Packers settled down.

After two editions we’re finally used to the 83×60 cm room you have for your stuff. You have two choices: either you buy a laptop or you put your pc behind your screen, having no space for your keyboard… or…you can make a small compact rack for stacking your pc above your screen, like I did. if you don’t have the horizontal space then just stack it vertically. In Belgium and the Netherlands we get much more room at LAN party’s but OK, this is a Swedish habit I guess. Strange! They have much more square miles per inhabitant but you don’t notice it during LAN’S. Luckily the internet here is…. SUPERFAAAAAST !

After a nice refreshing swim in the pool next door we are ready for the rest of the day! After a short fifteen minutes walk we found a place where we can see the Vättern lake. It was stunning! After all these editions we finally had time to check it out! We still have a lot of plans for the next days: The DIXZ VS HANCE performance on stage and a lot more dj’s. A lot to do! Hopefully we will have enough time to do it all and if not there is still the next year or the year after that.

I can’t say it enough: many thanks to Intel Pack4Dreamhack and their partners for this awesome trip twice a year! Let’s hope there will be many more editions to come!
